Nissan 350Z

(Fairlady Z33)

350z

As with many of the Nissans, this car goes by a few names. Over here is is the 350Z. In Japan it is the Fairlady Z. To enthusiasts it is a Z33 or just plain Z!

Whatever you call it, it's a drop dead gorgeous car and like most RWD Nissans, it's a total drifting machine!

Due to the newness and hence cost, you won't see many of these in amatuer events. But the Z is fast becoming a popular choice for Professional Drifters. In fact, Tanner Foust recently drove a Z in the Formula D Chapionship achieving the first ever perfect 100 score.

The car is based around the same "FM Platform" as the V35 Skyline and G35 Infiniti, but has been stiffened with extra bracing giving a far superior ride.

In the UK, the Z is driven by the Sumo Power team pioneered by JDM Racer : Andy Barnes, who was the first person in the UK to build and race a sub 10 second R34 Skyline. (While other racers import ready modified cars from Japan, which simply isn't cricket!)
